Designed by Alan Meeks under the art direction of Colin Brignall as a medium weight complement to the highly successful Aachen Bold. Categorized as a slab serif Egyptian, it has the unmistakable Aachen pedigree. Because of its less weighty features, it can be used in much smaller display sizes.
