EXCLUSIVE FACES VOLUME.03 LINE UP

PLAYFUL DESIGNED BY PABLO ALFIERI

Pablo Alfieri works under the aptly chosen moniker “Playful” from Buenos Aires, Argentina. His work is full of dynamic color and extremely exciting interplays between simplicity and chaos, from mind-bending three-dimensional constructs to solid vector work and beyond.

HypeForType’s exclusive typeface, Playful, brings together Pablo’s strongest traits: geometric inventiveness matched with vivid exuberance. This stylish block letter font has an abundance of alternatives so you’ll always be able to mix it up for any occasion. Playful is the epitome of fresh.

KILLER DESIGNED BY CRAIG WARD

Working as an Art Director at Grey New York, Craig’s innovative and experimental typographic style has seen him land commissions for clients such as Creative Review, eBay, BMW, Waterstones, Lexus, and many more. Craig has a brilliant way with typography as demonstated by his use of a wonderfully versatile range of media like smashed glass, fire, letterpress, ink on skin, and a whole host of other beautifully executed ideas.

His exclusive font for HypeForType, Killer, is a lovely all-lowercase, modern blackletter typeface with plenty of alternative letterforms. Each letter in Killer is exquisitely detailed with impeccable strokes and drenched with a very sharp attitude.

ENIAC PRO DESIGNED BY OFFICIAL CLASSIC

Self-described as “unlimited lovers of typography,” Official Classic’s work as masters of typeface design truly pushes the limits. They have released numerous outstanding fonts right here on HypeForType and are dedicated to serving graphic artists everywhere with a ton of expertly crafted stock vector art.

Eniac Pro is a heavy slab prodigy that looks perfectly suited for some kind of futuristic Space Western epic; it’s just plain fun. Eniac Pro’s design straddles both retro and contemporary looks with ease and will be quite at home in countless other styles.

RIGID DESIGNED BY MARTA

Marta Cerdà Alimbau is a freelance designer based in Barcelona with a very respectable track record working for clients like Coca Cola, Zoo York, and The Guardian. Her highly illustrative technique has brought us the HypeForType exclusive named Rigid, inspired by, as Marta states, Josef Albers and Ken Garland.

Rigid looks like it stepped right out of a beautiful 1930’s vision of the future, with towering, golden megalopolises and seductive geometry. This glamorous font has two weights, one with an amazing halftone variant, that will serve any project looking to up the ante.

MUSATYPE DESIGNED BY MUSAWORKLAB

MusaWorkLab was formed by a triumvirate of graphic designers based in Lisbon, Portugal. For more than 7 years, they have been producing topnotch work all over the world, and take great measures to push, and consequently break, the boundaries.

A decidedly novel and vibrant typeface, Musatype brings a unique blend of stimulating and ultimately hip sans serif letterforms to the Exclusive Collection Vol. 3. As an all-uppercase, this font is an exemplary force to be reckoned with for confident headlines and trend-setting, yet stable, typographic decoration.
