Kiruna is a sans-serif that blends geometric and humanist qualities. It's inspired by the flurry of grotesque and more geometric sans-serifs that emerged at the end of the nineteenth century, and start of the twentieth.
It has a traditional double-storey a and g, and is characterised by characters such as the upper and lower case k, the r, and the lower case a with its bold spur.
It's a highly legible text font, appropriate for use at small sizes, and with its blend of thick and thin strokes it yields a friendly, approachable look.
