Foundry: Greg Ponchak
The first renderings of XAR were made this summer when I was in Paris. I've never been too big of an Art Nouveau fan, but the influence of this artistic movement on the city was too much to ignore. My early attempts at merging the organic elements of this style with a bit of modernism were complete failures and overly organic. Eventually, I settled on organic serifs with a modernist/stencil structure. This is XAR.
